Educational content, not professional advice

Bookkeeper Cert Prep is a comparison and study resource for people deciding among bookkeeping-adjacent credentials. It is provided for general educational purposes only and is not professional, legal, tax, or financial advice. Nothing here creates a professional relationship or guarantees any exam result, hiring outcome, or pay increase. This site does not issue or certify anyone in any credential: certification requires the exam or course offered by the relevant body, and we are an independent comparison resource, never a substitute for that body's own process.

Accuracy and dated facts

We check every credential fact, fee, and requirement against a primary source (each body's own page) and stamp each page with the date it was last reviewed. Rules and fees change, and a figure that was correct on its review date may be updated afterward. Always confirm current requirements with the official source before you rely on them. Where a figure cannot be cleanly verified, we mark it pending rather than publish a guess.

Not affiliated with any credential body

Bookkeeper Cert Prep is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or administered by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB), the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB), or Intuit. Names of credentials and bodies appear only for accuracy and never imply a partnership.

Intellectual property

The text, comparison data, guides, practice questions, and explanations on this site are original works created by Bookkeeper Cert Prep and Urban Algorithm LLC. Our practice questions are authored from scratch against public exam content outlines and public bookkeeping fundamentals, which are facts and not copyrightable; the questions and explanations themselves are ours. You may read, link to, and share our pages for personal use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or resell our content without written permission. Illustrations are original or AI-generated artwork; we use no licensed stock photography.

Affiliate links

We currently run no affiliate program. If we ever add a disclosed affiliate link, we will include it only where it is on-topic and low-conflict, we will disclose it clearly, and it will never sit on the recommender, the comparison, or the home page.
