About Bookkeeper Cert Prep

Bookkeeper Cert Prep is an independent, neutral comparison guide to the bookkeeping-adjacent credentials: the AIPB Certified Bookkeeper (CB), the NACPB Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB), the Intuit Academy Bookkeeping Professional Certificate, and the QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification. It is a project of Urban Algorithm LLC. We sell no course and take no side, which is the whole point: every comparison-farm listicle in this lane is monetized by a course-affiliate click.

Quick answer

Is Bookkeeper Cert Prep affiliated with AIPB, NACPB, or Intuit?

No. Bookkeeper Cert Prep is an independent project of Urban Algorithm LLC, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AIPB, NACPB, or Intuit. We sell no course and take no side, so we name each body's credentials only to describe them, never to imply a relationship with the body itself.

Not affiliated with any credential body

Bookkeeper Cert Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB), the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB), or Intuit. We name those bodies and their credentials only to describe the exams and certificates this site helps you reason about. All certification and organization names are the marks of their respective owners.

How we work with the data

Our value is a neutral, dated comparison nobody else publishes. Fees, eligibility rules, exam structure, recertification cycles, and credential type are facts, and we compile them ourselves, each cell cited to the body's own page and stamped with the date it was checked. We never reproduce any body's copyrighted study-guide text or exam questions. Rate and pay figures are quoted from public, attributable sources with an explicit method, and we never claim a certification causes a specific raise.

When a number cannot be cleanly verified, we leave it marked pending rather than publish a guess. A neutral source that publishes a wrong figure is worse than one that admits it is still checking.

How we make money

Right now, we do not. The tools are free and ungated, there is no email capture, and there is no paid tier. If we ever add a link that earns a commission, it will be clearly disclosed, it will never sit on the recommender, the comparison, or the home page, and it will never bias a recommendation toward whichever program pays. Protecting that neutrality matters more than near-term revenue, because neutrality is what makes the comparison worth citing.
